I have the sims 2 super collection which is a download from the app store, but apartment life and free time were never coded for macs.so it doesn't include them. In order to reach my full movie making potential, i would like apartment life and free time. Download and Install The Sims™ 2: Super Collection

For a limited time EA is offering The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free on their Origin PC gaming service. Instructions for how to get the game are available here. They're pretty simple though, so let me explain the process.

Sims For Mac Computer

If you already have an Origin account all you need to do is head over to the Origin code redemption page and log in. Enter the code I-LOVE-THE-SIMS and hit next. Clean mac computer. Hit next again and the game will automatically be added to your account free of charge.

If you do not have an Origin account already then you can sign up for one here. After you have an account follow the directions above. You'll need to download the Origin client to your PC to play the game.

The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection contains the original The Sims 2 game as well as every expansion pack and stuff pack. Considering how heavily The Sims franchise relies on expansions, this is a ton of content being offered for free.

The Sims 2 is currently not available for purchase on Origin, so if you want the game this is the only way to get it at this time. EA has announced that they will no longer support the title, which already has a sequel available and another about to release.

The offer is only available from now until July 31st at 10am Pacific time, so be sure to redeem your code before then if you want to be able to enjoy The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection with your Origin account.

Recently EA offered The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free only to those who had previously purchased The Sims 2. It seems like they decided to open that up to all players though. An FAQ was put together to cover the end-of-life of The Sims 2 and the free offer. That FAQ can be found here.
